We stumbled upon this place after touring Kiyomizudera temple.  Coming down the temple road veer a bit right and keep walking to the subway line, not JR. Once you pass the first set of tracks it is on your right.  They boil the broth early in mourning and offer seven favors of ramen. Our favorite was the white pork ramen, salt base, and dark soy ramen.
